Ink Experts supply the new ‘unbranded’ ST210 double mug press machine.

Setup of this machine differs to our standard single mug press, a guide for setup is below.

Unpack the mug press machine

All our heat presses are supplied in the factory supplied shipping container and are brand new units (unless otherwise stated – i.e. ex-demonstration units)

The package will contain the following items-

  • ST210 Double Mug Heat Press Machine
  • 2 x 10/11oz mug heating elements (fitted)
  • UK specification power lead
  • Power up setting sheet
  • Basic instruction manual

Use the correct power source

Heat presses draw considerable power and voltage.

Therefore they require a stable electrical current from the main supply.

Ensure the heat press power lead is plugged directly into a main outlet wall socket.

DO NOT use a multiple adaptor, extension lead or other alternative power source as this will cause the electric supply to short or trip fuses.

Set temperature & time

Turn on the mug press using the power switch located on the rear of the machine.

The mug press will power on to standby mode.

Setting left-hand idle temperature (shown in green):

Press and hold the green MODE button for 5 seconds (or until the idle temperature displays)

Press + / – buttons to alter the idle temperature setting – we advise to set to between 160-180c (note the timer will not start until the heat press reaches this temperature)

Setting right-hand idle temperature (shown in red):

Repeat the process above. Press and hold the green MODE button for 5 seconds (or until idle temperature displays)

Press +/- buttons to alter the idle temperature.

Setting right-hand pressing temperature and time:

Firing Left-hand side:

Firing right-hand side:

Allow the elements to reach the idle temperature setting (previously set). We advise inserting a blank mug into the press whilst heating up to prevent risk of air burning or damage the heating element (do not heat up without a mug inserted)

Once at temperature the blank mug can be removed and print ready mug can be inserted.

Press the blue TIMER button to begin the timer and press the mug for the desired time.

Adjusting Pressure

  • Pressure is adjusted by rotating the black pressure adjuster.
  • Rotate clockwise for tightening / increasing pressure.
  • Counter clockwise for loosening / reducing pressure.

Pressure should be firm, the foam heating element should flex around the edges of the mug.

The clamp arm should be firm to close.

Change temperature scale (c or f)

  • Turn the power on using the power switch on the rear of the machine.
  • Press and hold the + and – buttons
