An Ecotank L1800 is THE ideal A3 size sublimation printer for users requiring professional photographic quality results.
Due to the Ecotank that is built into the printer by Epson there is no need for any retrofitting of a CISS or RIC.
Therefore, this is by far the easiest printer to set up for sublimation printing.
Just pour in the ink and go!
Perfect for those just starting out, and experienced users alike.
As of 11/11/2020 Ink Experts no longer support Mac OS, or mobile devices used with our sublimation printers.

What is sublimation printing?
Sublimation is the process of transferring a printed image onto a surface through heat and pressure.
Mugs that have images on are usually produced in this fashion, but that is not all.
Sublimation can also be used for fabric printing, glass picture tiles, custom phone cases, and much more.
For all the information you may need check out our Sublimation FAQ page.

How to sublimate on products
Our basic how-to guides are very useful for clients who are new sublimation and give a basic guide to how to print on to popular ‘sublimatable’ products-
Why the Ecotank L1800?
Not only is this printer easy to use, but it offers excellent value and includes some amazing functions you won’t find on other printers.
The main attraction of this printer is the Ecotank, and the biggest advantage of it is the fact that it will never ask for ink.
No ink out messages will interrupt your printing, meaning you can stack up the paper feed and leave it printing indefinitely.
In other words the printer will never stop printing as long as it has ink in the tank and paper in the feed.
For this reason alone multiple customers have switched to this system.
Moreover, the print quality is outstanding for a 6 colour machine and it is capable of printing A4 / A3 and A3+ size documents.
Images are rich in colour and transferred images lose no detail.
- High quality 6 colour printing head
- USB connection
- A4 / A3 / A3+ paper size handling
- Easy fill Ecotank system

Support for the following devices will be discontinued as of 11/11/2020
All Apple devices; iMac, Macbook, iPad, and iPhone.
Android devices; Chromebook, all mobile telephones and tablets.
Linux based systems.
The decision to cut support for these devices comes down to colour correction.
Devices listed above do not offer, cannot currently use, or completely ignore custom ICC profiles.
ICC profiles are a necessity when trying to achieve accurate colours with sublimation printing, and without their use the finished result will not be as desired.
Support for purchases before this date will still be offered, but updates made to your system after 11/11/2020 will not be covered in our technical support.
This decision may change in the future if support for ICC profiles is made available in these devices, or in the case of Apple Macbooks and iMacs, when Apple correct their ongoing issues with colour correction.
